  • Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, (ANR) is currently seeking a Family Liaison to join our team!  This person will be responsible for assisting families to access critical resources depending on their needs.  Works to maintain relationships with key contacts within the community to best assist families. These contacts include Supports Coordination Organizations, various advocacy groups, governing bodies such as the Office of Developmental Programs, and various volunteer organizations. The Family Liaison works to aid any of the organizations to connect to families and vice versa and each other.

    • Daylight, Monday-Friday

    • 40 hours/week

    • This position is hybrid.  Great for work/life balance!

    • Some travel required.  Travel mileage reimbursement is available at the state set rate.  Company vehicles are available, if needed

    • Hourly rate is $23.00

    Responsibilities: 

    • Community outreach.

    • Create and maintain a database of individuals and families to promote communication and relationships.

    • Organize and host community support groups (Self Advocacy Community Connections Group, Parent Support Group) in various mediums and platforms to fit individual/family’s needs. 

    • Attend local forums, transition councils, education fairs, and participate in committees as needed.

    • Lead the Administrative Entity and ODP initiatives to support ID/A initiatives.

    • Lead our structured Communities of Practice Regional Collaborative by engaging and facilitating our stakeholders in meetings to identify and achieve common vision and goals.

    • Coordinate with SCO’s, agencies, schools, and providers to assist individuals and their families.

    • Provide resources and learning to assist all stakeholders in utilizing the LifeCourse Tools with their families as part of the ongoing Individual Support Plan (ISP) Process in an effort to support ODP’s Everyday Lives initiative.

    • Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.

    Qualifications: 

    • Associate’s degree in human services or related field.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    • One year’s experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities. 

    • Computer competency with ability to learn agency and DPW software.

    • Be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required.  EOE/ADA 

    • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance.

    Alliance for Nonprofit Resources (ANR) is currently seeking a professional and self-motivated Transportation Driver in Westmoreland County, PA. Full-time must be available for all shifts, Monday-Friday between the hours of 5am – 10pm and Saturday between 5am and 1pm.

    Responsible for transporting passengers in a timely, safe, and smooth driving style and courteous manner as well as providing assistance to individuals with mobility impairments to and from vehicles. This Driver will also help deliver meals to homebound clients while monitoring and reporting any noticeable changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental status. Recordkeeping of meal pick-up and delivery times, mileage and other relevant information is required.

    Requirements:

  • Alliance for Nonprofit Resources (ANR) is currently seeking professional and self-motivated Transportation Drivers in McKean County.  Full-time Drivers must be available for all shifts, Monday – Friday between the hours of 5:00AM – 10:00PM and Saturday between 5:00AM – 1:00PM.

    Full-time employees must work 40 hours/week.

    Part-time employees must work over 30 hours/week, but under 40.  

    Hourly rate is $17.20

    The essential functions of the job are:

    • Responsible for transporting passengers in a timely, safe, and smooth driving style and courteous manner.

    • Provide assistance to individuals with mobility impairments to and from vehicles.

    • Help deliver meals to homebound clients while monitoring and reporting any noticeable changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental status.

    • Recordkeeping of meal pick-up and delivery times, mileage, and other relevant information is required.

    • Observe all PA traffic laws, including those related to the UDD Training.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.

    • 2 years of employment experience that required operations of a motor vehicle as a regular duty.

    • Clean Driving Record.

    • Knowledge of geographic area served.

    • Must pass a physical, TB and drug screen.
