ANR Transportation Services

The Alliance for Nonprofit Resources manages and provides a variety of transportation services for Butler County, including Butler Area Rural Transit (BART) Shared Ride, Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP), Butler County Transportation for Persons with Disabilities, Welfare-to-Work Transportation (PennDot) and other related transportation services.

ANR’s vision for the county and the region is to be an integral part of a mobility management system that incorporates the concepts of coordinated community transportation and exemplary rider service, while also keeping abreast of and involved in emerging alternate fuel and vehicle advancements.

ANR Transport has been granted authority by the Public Utility Commission to transport persons between points in 29 counties. Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Washington, Westmoreland, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Cameron, Clarion, Centre, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Huntingdon, McKean, Potter, Somerset, Venango and Warren.

ANR provides services in conjunction with the following organizations:
